Hello everyone!
My name is Alex and I have been working with Tommy and the VGL crew in the background for almost 10 years! If you ever messaged Video Games Live on Facebook, chances are, you were talking to me. In fact I helped introduce some of our special guests like Laura Intravia to Tommy years ago! Today, I am also here to assist Tommy and YOU to completing and receiving with your digital and physical rewards! Let me start with this update on what has been going on in the background and to give some context on the many outside forces that we have been working against. I apologize for the wall of text that is about to come your way....
We have been reading your comments and feedback and we completely agree with you! As Tommy mentioned before we had started shipping physical rewards for Kickstarter backers since October. I have heard from many of you that you have received them but there are also some of you who have not. This is where Tommy and I have internally started ramping things up. We have taken over a lot of the distribution internally. There have been a lot of outside forces working against us on this project and if you had backed a previous project with us, you should know, this is completely not acceptable to us just as much as it has been to you. In fact, we have never ever had this number of issues in any of our previous projects! This is now changing and is why I have taken more of a front approach. However, I need your help...
If you have not yet received your original physical KICKSTARTER rewards (not slackerbacker/addon order) please email me directly at [email protected] ASAP. I have been in contact with a few of you but if you have not contacted me yet please email me your name, pledge level, and if your address has changed please include that as well and I will contact you back and work on your order. We have completed most of you but I know there are some who got missed by our original distributor.
If you backed the project late and used Backerkit/Slacker Backer ADD-ON feature that we provided please note that you have not been forgotten. We took you guys back into our hands and we are personally going to look after you folks as well. Please note that if your address has changed in the last couple of months to please contact me ASAP directly as well at [email protected] and we will update that before shipping. The labels are made but there is still time to make that change if you can get it to me in the next day. In fact take a look at this! This is just a part of our operation and it is coming your way!

Alex, when are we supposed to be getting our goodies?! Great and understandable question. We hope to get your packages out before Dec 20th so that it can make it to your doors before Dec 25th. I can not promise this (especially to our international folks) but it is something we are so focused on having for you it has now become a determination. We are just as saddened and disappointed as you are that you have had to wait this long in the first place.
Veronica Taylor? Where? When? Veronica has been hard at work on both her professional career, personal life, and working hard at the almost 1000 custom voice over recordings for you. At this time I can not say we can get these out to you before the end of the year as we have not yet received her recordings for distribution. As soon as we get them and start to process them into our digital distribution tools, I will send out a separate update for those backers involved.
Can I get a Tracking Number? Unfortunately, at this time, tracking numbers can not be provided but I am looking into a way for numbers to be produced and then sent to you but because of our take over in distribution it becomes a challenge even for us.
I hope this helps bring clarity to everyone. We do humbly apologize again for all of these challenges and do feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions or concerns you may have. My goal is to open up the conversation with you guys and end things on a solid note. Tommy and I are also planning a special digital compensation for you folks as well. Stay tuned for that and more!

Hi Everyone!,
First, let me apologize for the delays in getting out the physical materials and the Veronica Taylor (Ash) recordings.
Because of the delay... I've gone ahead and added a very special track to everyone's Humble Bundle page. It's the original 16bit 44.1KHz wav file of the Pokemon Remix me, Jason Paige (original singer) and TheFatRat did! This version is the highest quality and isn't sold ANYWHERE! Only the .mp3 is available online... but you... the backers of LEVEL 6 are the only ones who have this file. It's a small extra token of my appreciation for backing the project and for the delays in getting some of you your physical products and the Ash recordings.
Veronica Taylor has been super popular and traveling like crazy to tons of comic cons, video game shows and anime festivals all spring but will be finishing up the recordings over the next few weeks. As soon as they come we'll be sending them out to everyone.
For the physical CD's... the biggest issue has been the original shipping company I was using going out of business and the availability of the people I needed to sign the CD's. Eimear (conductor) and her husband Craig (score supervisor and Baldur's Gate composer) ended up spending the first part of the year in Europe (where they also have a home) as Eimear recently gave birth to their second child (yay!). They were in town right before the big E3 video game convention in June so I was able to get them to sign everything. AND... because Metal Gear appears on LEVEL 6, I was also able to get the producer of Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Dance Dance Revolution, Contra, etc. to sign the album as well! Jason Enos is one of the most popular game producers on the planet and now works for me at Intellivision! Jason heads our offices up in San Francisco (our main HQ is in Irvine, CA) but during E3 I had him sign all the CD's as well. :)

There was a slight issue with the physical vinyl's... but everything has been taken care of and they have arrived as well!

As we get closer to sending out all of the physical items, I went ahead and UNLOCKED all of the addresses within BackerKit & Kickstarter. This means that if you have moved over the past few months, you can now CHANGE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS to ensure we mail your physical items to the exact proper place.

Here's a cool fan made recording of Jason and I in the Middle East last month (Doha, Qatar) with over 150 musicians with the National Qatar Orchestra & choir performing the LEVEL 6 version of Gotta Catch 'Em All! (with LASERS!) So amazing to see that no matter where we go in the world... people from all backgrounds, cultures, religions, etc. all love and adore video game music (and... know the words to Pokemon!) :)

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!
In celebration of the new Pokemon movie coming out. Jason & I got together with a very dear friend of mine... the incredible Fat Rat to do a special electronic REMIX of our "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" arrangement. The Fat Rat has over 3.6 million followers on YouTube! And his videos/music typically are in the 25 million to 100 million views! https://www.youtube.com/user/ThisIsTheFatRat
The new song will be coming out in the first week of May on The Fat Rat's YouTube channel. Electronic, Rock & Symphony together with Jason's voice. Yowza! The track really sounds amazing! Can't wait for everyone to hear it! I'll make sure to let everyone know when it's out.
For those who ordered the Veronica Taylor (Ash Ketchum) voice recordings... they are currently being recorded over the next week or so... so you'll be getting separate e-mails to download your custom recording!

Hi Everyone!,
Lots to catch up on!
Although I once again hit the goal of getting the LEVEL 6 album completed in time and in your hands when I promised, I want to apologize that the physical rewards part has taken a little longer than they have in the past. There are 3 reasons for this.
1. I had never personally done "vinyls" myself before and didn't realize that it was going to take so long to manufacture (it takes MONTHS, which I guess is standard). I spent extra money to have them rushed and FINALLY received them last week. (Yay!). Now I just need to get a bunch of them signed so they are ready to go.
2. This was the first time where I had "recordings" done (Ash Ketchum voice) and I was only going to get one shot at getting everything. Need to rent a studio, pay the actress, then record and edit all the lines. So if someone didn't fill out their survey... then I wouldn't have been able to just create what they paid for after the initial session. So I've been waiting til the last minute to record her. But now that the vinyls are in, I sent out the final requests to fill out the survey's last week. We will be recording next week when I return from the Middle East (show in Qatar this week!). There are still about 20 people who have not filled them out. If I don't receive them by this Wednesday, I'm afraid that we would no longer be able to create that portion of your pledge. So PLEASE fill them out. This will be your last chance as it's unfair to hundreds of folks who have not received their recordings yet. I hope you understand.
3. I am using a professional fulfillment house to make sure everyone gets their products and it's packaged correctly. I had received feedback over the past projects that sometimes the packages would show up damaged or things were missing (which I would replace). So I spent extra money to ensure that it was done by "pro's" who do this for a living. :) But because of that, I need to send everything to them at the same time because they send the entire project in bulk. Which is the reason why even the folks who just had a CD, still haven't received it yet.
I really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding and apologize again.

I wanted to share with everyone something really cool and special. In November, original Pokemon singer Jason Paige toured with us throughout Europe (France, Germany & UK) and in New York. He put together a special 12 part behind-the-scenes video series and the FINAL EPISODE was just completed over the weekend! I've been waiting for the final one to arrive so I could present them all to you at once. They are really funny, emotional, interesting, exciting and really gives a taste of what it's like to be on the road. It really captures the long hours, long rides, long travel with zero sleep... but how the fans and audiences is the thing that keeps us going the most. It's knowing how important this music means to so many people. Makes it all worth doing. It also documents all the silliness and fun we all have together as a team.
I really hope you can find the time to watch them all. It's over 2 hours of edited content and if you haven't already, you'll quickly fall in love with the incredibly talented Jason Paige who is so grateful to be able to sing for everyone. You'll see him get very emotional at times throughout the series. Special thanks to my "brother from another mother" Jason for being such an amazing soul. So glad we found him and were able to release him from his Pokeball to make him part of the team. :)
The entire series uses all the music from LEVEL 6 in the background! Some really great audio editing by Jason. Make sure to browse and SUBSCRIBE to his YouTube channel. So much fun stuff that he's done over the years.
